PATIENT CONDITIONS
To inquire about the condition of a patient, please call the External Affairs office at 978-236-1677 Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. After hours, page the staff member on call through the hospital page Operator, 978-922-3000, ext. 3369.
Patient Conditions are defined as follows:
Good: Patient is responding to treatment and regaining health. All vital signs are stable.
Fair: Vital signs are stable, but some difficulties are present.
Poor: Vital signs may be unstable, prognosis uncertain.
Critical: Vital signs usually unstable, prognosis poor.
